Hamfest Zelzate 2001
For the First time the UBA-Sections GNT - GRC - TLS and ZLZ organized a
common HAM-Fest in the St.Jan Baptiste clinic in Zelzate. The organization was
as it has to be, great.
Nice tables, wide corridors and a team of volunteers to make the event a success.
For a first time organization I think it was a splendid start. A lot of HAM's
came not only to look but also to buy and overall to enjoy the good old
ham-spirit. I was surprised to encounter a lot of home-brewers on each side of
the tables, selling and buying rare parts and long searched components.
I was there with some old PC-Stuff, radio tubes and books. Half of the stock
was gone in the afternoon.

Those who where not there may regret it, it was worth the displacement.
