Question 75 - Review - Chapter 1¶
Problem:¶
An epoxy paint for painting a ship's hull must be applied with a distribution of 1 liter per 8 $m^2$
Question:¶
How thick is the layer of freshly applied paint?
Solution:¶
One Liter = $1 dm^3 = 10^{-3} m^3$
So we have to determine the height of a body with a surface of 8 $m^2$ and a volume of $1x10^{-3}m^3$
$height = \frac{volume}{surface}$
